about getting from point A to point B in the most interesting ways possible

If you're a large woman in America, your whole life is an opportunity to feel self-conscious, embarrassed, resentful and way too big. You can hide in the corner or on the couch, you can go to therapy, or you can put on your lycra bike shorts and get out there and move.

another bad morning permalink

This has to be a quickie. My ankle feels much better—so much better that I'm about to go to a racewalking seminar with Philip Dunn.

Natasha, the one cat in the house who hasn't been sick this year, is at hospital—same symptoms Nigella had. To add insult to injury, she peed on me in the car. Sigh!

Ouch - sorry to hear about Natasha (and your clothes this morning). I hope that everything turns out well.

Thanks, Richard -- it's looking positive at this point.
