anti-matter
There's not a lot to report here, I'm afraid. I was really worn out this weekend so I slept a lot and worked out not at all. I am a collection of little aches and pains this morning. I left the house late and managed a 30 minute walk this morning, ending at the transit center where I saw a bicyclist down, being tended to by paramedics.
And, no surprise, when I weighed in this morning, I did not meet my weight loss goalsI am the same weight I was two weeks ago. I blame all those Chanukah cookies. No, really, I think that's it.
Though, in looking for something to wear to the Chanukah party, I tried on my little black dress which I haven't fit in in a good couple years if not longer. Not only does it fit, but it fits without me even unzipping it. I tried on my "skinny" pair of jeans (which is to say, skinny for me) and they fit too. So that's promising.

Hey,
Congratulations on your progress. I certainly believe inches are a great indicator of improved fitness.
I hate it when I see bicycle accidents. It makes me nervous when I get on my bike again. I certainly hope that biker was OK.

Thanks, Megan. I also felt a bit better when I went to Pilates today and was able to do much more of it. The instructor even commented on it (privately).
And yeah, I totally freak at bike accidents. I was in one about 17 years ago that left me pretty much unable to walk for a summer. I've been really pleased that I'm able to cycle again, after all that time, but I still see something like that and have the "there but for the grace of g-d" moment. I hope he was okay too. There was no blood, but they were stabilizing his neck and I have no idea what that meant.

Ah yes, the little black dress. I wish I had been the designer that thought of "the little black dress" because I would be a bazillionare by now, because every woman in the world has one of those.
And YEAH for clothes that fit! Isn't it wierd to wear stuff that was so tight before and now fits well?
