preparation 
I was actually ready early this morning! And thus, I am on top of the world.
Other than that, I have very little to tell. I've been diligent, and not terribly interesting. I worked through my lunch yesterday. That was a mistake. But I got a good 20 minute walk in on the way to work.
But hey. I love this story about a group of older people starting their own housing development (the Times derisively calls it a commune, natch).

some people are just grumpy..i don't know why a planned neighborhood is any different than a planned city

I read that article too, and sent it to my mom, as she's always talking about wanting to live in more of a community as she gets older. Her one complaint was that she wouldn't enjoy being isolated with only people of her own age. Which I could understand.
