about getting from point A to point B in the most interesting ways possible

If you're a large woman in America, your whole life is an opportunity to feel self-conscious, embarrassed, resentful and way too big. You can hide in the corner or on the couch, you can go to therapy, or you can put on your lycra bike shorts and get out there and move.

Lovely! I'm in Portland now; email me if we can meet. We didn't get in until midnight last night, and we're leaving Saturday morning for a triathlon in Bend. --Misty

The Trek is a cute bike, indeed. I had an old Trek, now at the Recyclery, because I fell in love with the KHS Manhattan Aero. It's like the old Schwinn cruisers, but with six speeds. Goes with my pedal pushers, flip hairdo, and Keds.

I just bought one. I'm changing jobs and am going to be close enough to commute. I can't wait!
